Pictured above is one of our Buff Orpingtons. These are large breed chickens and are very good layers and setters.

This was our Polish rooster. We really enjoyed our Polish chickens, but they are very hard to keep alive in the winter. This guy would stand outside in a snowbank during a snowstorm while the other chickens went inside to keep warm, so we decided to get rid of this breed.

 
Frizzles
Frizzles are my favorite! They have a very unique and interesting look and come in black, white and red. Also, they come in bantam and standard sizes.

Aracanas
These chickens are very cool. They lay blue/green eggs and come in a variety of colors and designs. They are sometimes called the Easter egg chicken.

Cochins
This is a very heavy breed. They get pretty big and are quite soft.  I enjoy them because they are hardy and are a mellow breed.
